Where tradition meets natural alchemy
The Healing Laboratory is a gleaming stainless-steel space where age-old traditions are brought to life with precision and care. Here, our Balinese healers and wellness practitioners prepare bespoke oils, scrubs and masks using fresh botanicals harvested from our medicinal garden. Each blend is crafted according to generational recipes and sacred knowledge, supporting the body’s natural capacity for physical, emotional and energetic renewal. The contrast between the lab’s modern design and the natural textures found throughout Fivelements is intentional, honouring both innovation and heritage in our path to holistic healing.

Curated treasures for body, mind and home
Our boutique wellness shop offers a thoughtful selection of artisan pieces gathered from across the Indonesian archipelago and beyond. Discover handmade jewellery, natural skincare, Fivelements Retreat essential oils and incense, sarongs, select books and limited apparel crafted with care. While the collection is intentionally modest, each item is chosen for its story, quality and connection to our values of beauty, mindfulness and conscious living.
Sacred environments designed for movement, expression and connection
Purpose-built from sustainable bamboo and alang-alang thatch, our yoga salas are designed to host a range of sacred movement and breathing practices such as yoga, meditation, healing workshops, expressive arts and meaningful gatherings. Each space carries its energetic essence and capacity, offering an inspiring environment for both intimate and large-scale experiences.
Mandala Agung (250 sqm)

Our largest and most iconic pavilion is a soaring bamboo structure inspired by the union of dual energies, feminine and masculine, earth and sky. Holding up to 60 guests for yoga or 300 for seated workshops, it offers an ideal setting for expansive ceremonies, retreats and conscious events.
Mandala Ayung (94 sqm)

Overlooking the gentle flow of nature, Mandala Ayung is a mid-sized space accommodating up to 23 guests for yoga or 100 for group workshops. Its balanced design and open layout create a nurturing environment for deep connection, movement and creativity.

A refined space for strength, movement and mindful conditioning
Our boutique gym offers a curated holistic fitness experience, equipped with state-of-the-art Matrix equipment for both strength and cardiovascular training. Designed for comfort and focus, the space supports your personal wellness goals, whether maintaining your routine or integrating mindful movement into your retreat journey.

A serene oasis for refreshment, reflection and gentle movement
Set amidst lush natural surroundings, our ionised pool offers a refreshing and chemical-free environment for relaxation or low-impact exercise. With separate changing rooms and secure lockers for men and women, it provides a tranquil setting to cool down, unwind or simply enjoy the stillness of the moment.

A sacred space for deep surrender and aquatic bodywork
This circular, temperature-controlled pool is designed specifically for water-based healing practices. Tucked within a quiet area of the wellness village, its soothing warmth and gentle depth create an ideal setting for therapeutic use. The enclosed environment encourages a sense of privacy, safety and ease, allowing the body to soften and the mind to settle.

A powerful convergence of natural forces and ancient energy
Located at the entrance of the retreat, this circular space sits at the intersection of eight major ley lines, creating a natural vortex of energy. Revered by priests and healers, it is known for its unique resonance – pendulums spin continuously at its centre, and lightning has struck this very spot during nearly every major storm as if drawn to its magnetic pull. Encircled by river stones and adjacent to the Agni Hotra fire temple, it serves as a site for meditation, blessings and quiet reflection. More than a feature, it is a phenomenon, an open-air field that continues to intrigue and energise all who step within.

A sacred site for Agni Hotra fire rituals
The Kunda is the ceremonial heart of our retreat, a sacred altar dedicated to Agni Hotra fire rituals. Built entirely from bamboo and alang-alang thatch, the circular pavilion embodies the form of a mandala, a symbol of purity, balance and the centre of the world. Its three-tiered roof represents the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, signifying creation, preservation and transformation of the universe. As flames rise from the altar, offerings of ghee, grains and sacred chants are placed into the fire, symbolising release and renewal. The ceremony bridges the material and spiritual realms, inviting participants into a state of purification, healing and connection with nature’s unseen energies. Both a communal and personal experience, the Kunda remains a living expression of Balinese tradition and the deeper philosophy at the heart of Fivelements Retreat Bali.
